2023 Aged Care Provider Workforce Survey: Report

This report presents the key findings from the 2023 Aged Care Provider Workforce Survey (the Survey) commissioned by the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care. The report provides information on the size, composition and characteristics of the aged care workforce in residential and in-home care settings. The 2023 Survey collected information across 5 service care types; residential aged care services, the Home Care Packages Program, the Commonwealth Home Support Programme, and for the first time, the Multi-Purpose Services (MPS) Program and the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Flexible Aged Care (NATSIFAC) Program.
