Summary
The Home Care Packages Program provides older people who want to stay at home with access to a range of ongoing personal services, support services and clinical care that help them with their day-to-day activities. This report provides an update on the operation of the Home Care Packages Program following the introduction of new arrangements for the program on 27 February 2017. Data are provided for the period 1 October 2024 through to 31 December 2024.

Correction:
- 20/03/2025 – In Appendix F – Number of HCPs released in the December 2024 quarter, by ACPR (released on 26 February 2025), the data for Queensland and Western Australia were duplicated and the data for South Australia, Tasmania, Australian Capital Territory, Northern Territory, Unknown ACPR and the national total were missing. This issue in Appendix F has been amended.
